Sweet Estate donates operation vehicle to Nigerian Television Authority

The popular properties and facilities company, Sweet Estate has contributed to the uplifment of Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), with the donation of operational vehicle as parts of contributions for the station.

Penpushing reports that, the management of the company led by its Chairman, Chief Bidemi Falola made the presentation of the Toyota Cammry car to the management of the television station led by its General Manager, Mrs Funmi Wakama at the station;s headquarters in Ogbe, Abeokuta.

The presentation by the Sweet Estate Unique Properties and Facility Management Limited was witnessed by dignitaries which include founder of Penpushing Media, Prince Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji, General Manager, Paramount FM, Prince Niyi Odekunle; Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ogun State Command, Ahmed Umar and Mr. Sunday Ogunsola, aka Tantala,

Penpushing further reports that, General Manager of the television station, Mrs.Funmi  Wakama in her welcome speech  appreciated the Chairman of Sweet Estate for the kind gesture, noting that the day event has brought the station back to its vision and mission of returning the station to the pride of place in the comity of broadcastings in Nigeria.

“NTA, Abeokuta has been enjoying tremendous support from stakeholders. Only last week, we received wash hands basin from Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority drilled borehole by solar panel donated it to the station and its immediate community;, she said.

“Our appreciation also goes to Ogbe community as they apprehended a suspected vandal who came through the back to dig up water pipes, he was arrested and taken to the police station’, Wakama stated

Penpushing further reports that, the first female Chief Press Secretary in Ogun State went down memory lane on how she met the donor, through the facilitator last year when they were planning for the 40 years anniversary of the station, as well the promise of the operational vehicle few months ago to mark her third years in office.

The General Manager used the occasion in urging government at all levels, corporate bodies and well meaning individuals to emulate the donor generosity and support to the station, stressing that the gesture will propel the station to move ahead.

Penpushing also reports that, Wakama while appreciating management and staff of the television station for their dedication and commitment promised the donor that the station would make judicious use of the vehicle to the glory of the Almighty God.

The Chief Executive of Sweet Estate, in his address, advised stakeholders to always render assistance at their disposals to improve and motivate staff of  organizations, and urged all other parastatals to know that his company is in to estate property and management, and have over five thousand customers within three years of its establishment.

Penpushing reports that, Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps(FRSC), in his remarks praised the station for showing appreciation to the donor by organising such an elaborate ceremony to appreciate the gesture.

The Sector Commander pointed out that both the Federal Road Safety Corps(FRSC) and Nigerian Television Authority(NTA)  were employees of  Nigerian Government, with assurance that the establishments would continue to collaborate at all times.

Penpushing also reports that, the highlight of the event was the presentation of car, key and vehicle particulars to the station boss, while the test drive by Wakama was supervised by the Sector Commander.
