SUSPENSION OF AMOSUN MARKS FINAL BURIAL OF ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS IN OGUN, SAYS GROUP

‘We are aware of Governor Ibikunle Amosun’s commitment to this just cause even at personal cost. His purported suspension by the leadership of APC is a suspension of the APC in Ogun State. As a people we must unite to fight injustice and say no to external influence in running our State’, the group said.

The statement added that, in view of this, ’we should not surrender our freedom to anyone. Let us go out and vote the APM for Governorship and House of Assembly across Ogun State’, stressing that in furtherance to this, the movement has taken position to continue to campaign and support Adekunle Akinlade as the Governorship Candidate of APM.

Other positions taken are that, to give support to all candidates of the State House of Assembly on the platform of APM, propagate unity and kindred spirit amongst all stateholders in Ogun West Senatorial District towards achieving common objective

 Penpushing further reports that, the Group said it was convinced that the APM Governorship candidate is competent and resourceful enough to serve the people of the State as Governor, having been tested to prove his readiness and willingness to excel if elected as the State Governor.

“Our research into his antecedents and our various interactions with him revealed to us his passion for service, his brilliance and achievements in public service as Senior Special Assistant to the governor in 2011, where he helped grow the state IGR from the modest level it was to the current average of N7billion per months, remember he promised to take the IGR to N15billion if elected” the statement said.

“His experience as a serving member of the House of Representatives is an added advantage as knowledge, he has gained from the federal legislature house will be used for the benefit of our dear state”
