CRISIS HIT OGUN INTER-PARTY ADVISORY COUNCIL OVER ALLEGED ADOPTION OF ALLIED PEOPLES MOVEMENT GO VERNORSHIP CANDIDATE

The Group anchorman, Olusegun Olufemi  accompanied by ten chairmen of the  different political parties, declared that the purported adoption of the Allied Peoples Movement(APM) will hold no water, stressing that it was a fake attempt by the Arabambi led executive

‘The adoption being paraded by Arabambi led executive is fraud and embarrassing. Arabambi has turned his led exco to butter and bread. What is amazing and tongue wagging was that IPAC is being gradually wracked by discernible hidden agenda which has resulted to disunity among the rank and file of the parties constituting IPAC’

The aggrieved party chairmen alleged that, the Arabambi led executive of the body recently released a press statement that about 60 political parties have chosen a particular candidate as the consensus candidate for the 2019 Governorship election in the State.

‘We use this opportunity to inform the world that, we reject in totality the adoption of any Governorship Candidate. We urge the members of the public to disregard the purported adoption of ant political party or candidate’, Olufemi emphasized.

He disclosed that in view of the ugly development, a petition had been written to the National Chairman of IPAC, which part of the contents reads, ’I is curious and it is against the tenet of democracy for executive of IPAC to unilaterally endorse and adopt a particular candidate for the forthcoming general election without prior consent or approval of the parties chairmen’

The Chairmen in the petition called for the disbandment of IPAC executive in the state, and caretaker committee set up to steer up the activities of IPAC in the state,arguing further that, political parties interest and their aspirations has suffered serious political setback, as electorates in the state has labeled them as unserious.

Penpushing reports that, the parties which signed the press statement include; Better Nigeria Party, Freedom and Justice Party, Progressives People Alliance, Peoples Progress Party, All Blending Party, National Action Congress, Advanced Congress of Democratic, National Democratic Liberty Party, Democratic Peoples Congress and Masses Movement of Nigeria
