Spiritual Warfare
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Ephesians 6: 10-18
Fourth is to take on the Shield of Faith(Ephesians 6:16a). Your faith is your belief in the God that you serve; belief in His word, His promises, and His prophecies for our lives. For without faith it is absolutely impossible to please God. Hebrews 11:6
Your faith is the currency with which you can receive anything from the Lord. Faith in Him can make you achieve ridiculous things
For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.Isaiah 50:7
To set my face like a flint is faith. Make daily confessions that will strengthen you faith; I believe Him, I cannot see shame. I cannot fail, I cannot be stopped, and I cannot be wasted. I believe Him for who He is. I believe Him for what He has said
Your faith is an expression of your relationship with Him. Miracles are wrought by the power of faith. We can only overcome the enemy by our faith in God. Doubt and unbelief are hindrances to spiritual exploit.
As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Romans 9:33
It was faith that made Peter walk upon the water, but when unbelief set in, he began to sink in the same water. And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.Matthew 13:58 The man the enemy fears most is a man of faith. Nothing can resist the power of faith
Fifth is the Sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6: 17).The word of God is magnified here again.Truth is established through and by His word. It is a two edged sword with which you tear and destroy the wiles of the devil.His word is a light and a lamp that directs and makes you escape the darts of the enemy.
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. Psalm 32:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Joshua 1:8
The word of God is a defense unto us. And finally, Prayers (Ephesians 6:18).Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit. This shows that there are different forms of prayers;
