South African Pentecostal Bishops Council in collaboration with Immanuel Group to ordain pastors
The South African Pentecostal Bishops Council in collaboration with Immanuel Group will on Saturday October 25, 2025 will ordain pastors, consecrate archbishops, bishops as well as give some other special awards.
Penpushing reports that this was made known in a statement by Founder Immanuel Group Emeritus Prof Edward Van Den Berg explaining that Doctors of Theology who have rightly distinguished themselves as General Overseers/ Presidents in their various Ministries will be consecrated as Archbishops and Bishops respectively
The statement added that there will be award of PhD, Doctoral degrees, Master and Bachelor degrees, and a few Pastoral diplomas, stressing that the awardees would be council and group ambassadors
‘Shalom Beloved Campus Deans. I trust that you all are well. As you know that the year is running fast, and before we know it, time and opportunities may have passed us by. This is why some good and pragmatic steps need to be taken by us in Immanuel Group’, the statement reads.
‘Kindly note that it has been decided to have one Head Office graduation on Saturday, 25 October 2025. This will be our ambassadors’ and doctoral graduation, where we will award PhD, doctoral degrees, Master and bachelor degrees, and a few Pastoral diplomas. We will also be ordaining pastors, consecrate archbishops, bishops and as well as give some other special awards’.
Penpushing further reports that the statement said those to be consecrated during the graduation include Prof Jeffrey Angel Naidoo: Archbishop, Prof Errol Jacobs: Archbishop, Prof Johannes Mogale: Archbishop and Prof Sipho Ndondolozy: Archbishop
The statement added that others are Prof Morena Matlala (Archbishop), Prof Olúṣesí Michael Ọbátẹ́yẹ(Archbishop), Dr Cookie Angel Naidoo (Bishop), Dr Mary Khumalo (Bishop), Prof Frederick Mayesa (Bishop), Prof Amanuel Washe Legamo (Bishop) Dr Mary Matlala (Bishop) and Dr. Salome Webster from Richardsbay, will receive a PhD and her Professorial Certification
Penpushing also reports the Immanuel Group Founder in the statement emphasized that all recipients have been meticulously selected since the February 1, 2025, and equally congratulated them.
