A Social worker and proprietress of a Non-Government Organisation known as DonMary Human and Community Enhancement Initiatives, Doyin Agboola has ventured into entertainment industry with focus on gospel music, as she launched her maiden album.
Penpushing reports that, the launch of the album and Ministry commissioning was held on May, 28, 2023 at the Christ The King Anglican Church located in Ijemo-Agbadu in Abeokuta South Local Government of Ogun State.
The album title is ‘Almighty God’ which contains two tracks titled,’Ojuaraba and Iwo Ni’, and is gradually becoming a hit sound across the globe, while the band name is known as Donmary Global Ministry
Penpushing further reports that, the launch attracted number of guests from within and outside the state, as the church was full to the brim, with family, friends and wellwishers seen dancing to the melodious song when aired at the event.
The female gospel musician, a mother of two excited the audience with the song when she stormed the stage to entertain them, and the guests could not hold their dancing skills, joining her on the stage to dance to high heaven as the gospel music pervaded the air.
Penpushing also reports that, the residents within the neighbourhood were not left out in the joyous mood, as the music blared out from the church hall, and were equally noticed dancing ecstatically from their various homes
The social worker turned musician in an interview with journalists said she venture into gospel music following spiritual call, stressing that she had been in gospel music at age 3, as member of church choir, adding that till date she is still a member of the church choir
‘Why I venture into gospel music is the Lord’s calling. Have been in gospel line since I was a little girl, my mother took me to Sunday School, children’s choir when I was 3 years, till date am still one of the choir in my church’, she emphasized
Penpushing reports that, the 40- year old gospel musician declared that, she was determined to propagate God across the world with gospel music, adding that she would not stop nor relent in serving God, having looked back to her bitter experiences and succor from God to her
‘I am determined to propagate God words, through gospel music across the world, and I will not stop nor relent in serving the Almighty God, because when I look back at challenges and the intervention of God in my life, I will continue to serve Him with my heart’, Agboola said
