
Retired Head of Service, Permanent Secretaries collaborate Development Agenda for Western Nigeria Commission for book launch on economic development
The Association of Retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries South West Nigeria (ARHOSPS –SWN) have concluded plans to present a book titled “Proposed Plan of Action for Economic Development of South West Nigeria,” to the Governors of South-West States
Penpushing reports that the Chairman of the Planning Committee of the event, Alhaji Adekunle Adegbite made this known in a statement explaining that the project is in consultation with Development Agenda for Western Nigeria (DAWN) Commission.
The statement added that the Governors include of Ekiti, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Osun and Oyo States adding that the book highlights achievements of South-Western States, and provides insights and suggestions to the Governors on ways to enhance governance for prosperity of the region.
Penpushing further reports that Adegbite, explained that the book covers topics on Security Improvement Strategies, Health Development, Energy and Solid Minerals, Transportation and Regional Development, Public Service Development as well as Governance and Nation Building, among others.
The statement stated that the event is scheduled to hold on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the New Hall of Oyo State Local Government Staff Training School, Secretariat, Ibadan, Oyo State Capital
“Dignitaries from the South-West Region will attend the ceremony scheduled to hold on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the New Hall of Oyo State Local Government Staff Training School, Secretariat, Ibadan, from 10.30a.m’, Adegbite said.
