Radio presenter arrested for alleged sodomy

An On Air Personality, Chigozie Anumudu, popularly called Mc Manosky, has been arrested by the Abia State Police Command for allegedly defiling a 15-year-old boy in Aba, Capital city of the state, a crime known as sodomy

Penpushing reports that the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Maureen Chinaka, confirmed the arrest of the suspect in a statement issued to journalists in Umuahia, explaining that he was being detained at the Estern Ngwa Police Station, Aba.

The statement added that Anumudu, was arrested on December 31, 2023, at his residence, following complaints lodged at the Estern Ngwa Police Station by the father of the survivor, stressing that the suspect is not a member of staff of any radio station, but operates as a freelancer in radio stations within Aba.

Penpushing further reports that the statement said the survivor(namewitheld) explaining his ordeal said the suspect took him to a place around Addrexx Hotel in Aba and gave him bread to eat which he refused, adding that thereafter the freelance broadcaster slapped which made him to fall down before he engaged him in the sex

‘Mc Manosky took me to a place around Addrexx Hotel in Aba and gave me bread to eat. I refused, then Manosky slapped me, I fell on the bed and he climbed on me. I automatically slept off and when I woke up this morning, my anus was paining me badly. I asked Manosky what he did to me and he threatened me that if I tell anyone, he will kill me’, the victim said
