PUT MINISTERS ON THEIR TOES FOR EFFECTIVE GOVERNANCE, GROUP TELLS BUHARI

 The coordinator charged the Ministers to bring their expertise and experience to bear in their respective assignments in order to justify their worthy choice by President Muhammadu Buhari and should avail the nation of their academic and professional competence by unveiling programmes and projects that will add value in governance.

Penpushing further reports that, the body noted that the much said “next level Agenda” of Buhari second term mandate will be worthless and meaningless if their performance fell short of standard and not in tandem with goal and aspiration of his (President) Agenda setting and he enjoined them to prove their mettle as they set on their respective tasks.

The Group identified synergy and team spirit as cardinal to achieving inter-Sectoral/Agency co-operation, collaboration and good network required for an all-round development of the country, urging the new cabinet members to eschew rivalry, competitiveness and embrace sound and collective approach in the delivery of their mandate

“It is equally imperative that your private and official conduct should be in tandem with best and conventional practices, while also ensuring principles of accountability, transparency and fair-play attitude in the conduct of your affairs”
