Popular socialite Niyi Adegbenro set to celebrate 80th birthday
A popular socialite and Egba High Chief, Niyi Adegbenro is set to celebrate his 80th birthday anniversary, and also launched a multi-million naira town hall project in Awowo community located in Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State.
Penpushing reports that, the birthday ceremony to be transmitted live by Penpushing media through its facebook website page will hold on Sunday, April 3,2022 at the private residence of the celebrator in Abeokuta, the state capital
The programme of events include religious service and fund raising for building of civic centre in Awowo community of Ewekoro local government area of Ogun State with land already allocated for this communal project.
Penpushing further reports that, the event which is going to be a low-keyed because of the prevailing situation in the country is scheduled to commence 10am and rounded off with a reception at the same venue
The former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo in a congratulatory message to the celebrator, who is Osi of Owu Kingdom and Baaloro of Egbaland, , noted that attaining the octogenarian status cause for a celebration
‘It is with great pleasure I write to rejoice with you on your 80th birthday anniversary and also to extend congratulations to you on the attainment of this significant milestone, Octogenarian. The beginning of your ninth decade on earth is a cause for great joy and jubilation It is an auspicious occasion as well as give thanks to Almighty God for His goodness and mercy all these years’, Obasanjo wrote
‘It is also apposite at a time like this to look back with great satisfaction and contentment on a highly successful career and selfless service you have given to your community, state and indeed the entire nation;, he added
‘For me it provides a good opportunity to convey sincere appreciation to you with a life filled with remarkable experiences and for your noteworthy contributions to the political development at the community, local and state levels’, Obasanjo emphasised
‘As I joined your numerous friends, admirers and well wishers in felicitating with you and the entire Adegbenro family on this joyous occasion. I pray that God Almighty grant you many more happy years on earth in good health. Happy birthday once again my good Aburo’, he stated
