Petrol-laden tanker explodes in Lagos

A petrol-laden tanker in the early hours of Friday exploded at Ajegunle Bus-Stop, around Alagbado, on the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, as residents ran helter skelter as at the time of the incident.

Penpushing reports that, sources said number of shops and houses were burnt in the incident said to have occurred at about 3am, while number of residents were still sleeping, but it was yet to be established if there was any death

The emergency officials, including firefighters from the Lagos State Fire Service,  as at the time of this report have arrived the scene and busy battling  to put out the fire, and avoid further spread and damages
