Peoples Democratic Party reconciliation committee in closed door meeting with Obasanjo

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Reconciliation Committee and Strategy on Tuesday engaged former President Olusegun Obasanjo in a closed door meeting, held at the hilltop residence of Obasanjo in Abeokuta.

Penpushing reports that the Chairman of the Committee, Senator Bukola Saraki led the committee members to the home of the former President at about 12.12pm, while as at the time of filing the report, they were at meeting

The former President, it is recalled publicly tore his membership card of Peoples Democratic Party(PDP)  towards the build up to the 2015 general elections, a decision announcing his exit from partisan politics

Penpushing further reports that, Obasanjo was the country President under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) between  1999-2007, while in subsequent election, he supported President Muhammadu Buhari against ex-President Goodluck Jonathan who eventually lost the election
