Peoples Democratic Party chieftain dies
A Chieftain and member of Elder Council of Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Elder Isaac Amusa has died at age 74, at Federal Medical Centre(FMC), Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital after a brief illness.
Penpushing reports that, the politician, who was a former Senatorial Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) between 2010-2014, and later Chairman of Accord Party(AP), Ogun state chapter died on April 3, 2022.
The family in a statement confirmed demise of Amusa, adding that funeral arrangement is scheduled to start on Thursday, July 21, 2022 with laying in state at his private residence located at number 11, Barrister Omosanya Close, Laderin, Abeokuta by 1pm.
Penpushing further reports that, this will be followed with service of song and Christian wake keep scheduled to hold by 4pm, at H3 Event Centre Oke Mosan, Abéokuta, and on Friday July 22, 2022, a funeral service will take place at Redeemed Christian Church of God (Jesus the Comforter Parish), Laderin, Abéokuta BY 10am.
The family added that, interment will take place at African Church Cementary, Surulere, Abéokuta by 12noon, and thereafter entertainment of guests coming up at Abeokuta Sports Club, 1 Oba Ademola Road, OPIC Roundabout, behind Sweet Sensation ,Oke Ilewo Abeokuta.
