Penpushing member Tope Adaramola elected Governing Council member Nigerian Institute of Public Relations
A member of Penpushing Platform, Tope Adaramola has been elected a member of Council of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, (NIPR) the highest decision-making body of the Institute in Nigeria.
Penpushing reports that Adaramola, a former Chairman of the Ogun State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations is being elected to represent Ogun State after another Penpushing Platform member, Abimbola Alagbe served out his term as the member of the council in 2007
The renowned journalist and the incumbent Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Council for Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB), was elected as a Council member at the 2023 Annual General Meeting and Elections of the Institute held on Thursday in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Penpushing further reports that that Adamola polled 788 votes to emerge among the 17 members of Council who were duly elected at the keenly contested election, and others elected include Dr Sule Yau Sule, Ini Ememobong Essien, Dr Ike Neliaku, Bashir Adamu Chedi, Dr Adewale Oladipo Oyekanmi, Okoh Thelma Chika and Kabir Ali Kobi
The other members are Prof Kate Azuga Ominuga, Dr Saidat Salah Abdulnaqi, Prof Emmanuel Dandaura and Prof Sarah Benjamin Luwahas, Prince Ford Ozumba, Pastor Paulinus Eyinda Nsirim, Olubunmi Adedoyin Badejo, Akin Agbejule, Bajulaye Adetokunbo and Yakubu Gomos, while the elected council members subsequently elected Dr. Ike Neliaku as President and Chairman of the Governing Council w
Penpushing also reports that Adaramola who is a former staff of the Ogun State Ministry of Information and Press Officer attached to the Government House between 1991 and 1999, promoted the image of four successive administrations under Governors Oladeinde Joseph, Olusegun Osoba, Daniel Akintonde and Samuel Ewang.
