Penpushing member, Ronke Ogunremi bags Honorary Doctorate Degree of Leadership
A frontline member of Penpushing Platform, Princess Olaronke Ogunremi was on Saturday honoured with Honoris Causa award of Dr of Leadership by Priesthood Leadership Development Initiative Incorporated in collaboration with the Immanuel Institute of Theology International, South Africa.
Penpushing reports that the award approved by the Board of Directors of the Institute was based on recommendation of the Faculty of Leadership and Management, having fulfilled all the requirements of the degree.
The ceremony which attracted dignitaries within and outside Nigeria, was held at Treasure House of God, 177, Quarry Road, Agbeloba, Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital, with online participation of the leadership of the institute in South Africa
Penpushing further reports that the awardee beaming with smiles throughout the well-attended ceremony was accompanied by her husband, family members and other well wishers who came to rejoice with her
The Penpushing platform with membership across the globe was represented by Prince Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji (Founder) and Toyin Sogbesan(General Manager Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation) to rejoice with the awardee, who is also a member of the platform
Penpushing also reports that presentation of her award certificate attracted loud ovation from the guests, in appreciation of Ogunremi’s known leadership quality, as well as her humanitarian conduct in all aspects of human endeavours
The awardee during an interview with journalists shortly after the ceremony said she was elated and felt proud to have been considered for the great honour, adding that the award will further strengthened her to do more
‘I felt so honoured, I am really, really proud that I was considered for this honour. I am very very proud. I cherish it. It has also given me the strength to continue doing more on what I have been doing, because I have records of that. Now that I have been recognized I will do more. That’s what it has given me. It’s a great thing I never expected’, Ogunremi emphasized.
