Penpushing member, Nafiu Aigoro appointed Ogun state Head of Service
A frontline member of Penpushing platform, Dr Nafiu Olatunde Aigoro has been appointed as the new Head of Service in the Ogun State Civil Service, an appointment which takes effect from November 4, 2021.
Penpushing reports that, the appointment of Aigoro by the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun was contained in a statement on Friday issued by Secretary to the Ogun State Government, Tokunbo Talabi
‘The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun has approved the appointment of Dr Nafiu Olatunde Aigoro as the new Head of the Service of the Civil Service of Ogun State. The appointment is with effect from Thursday 4th November, 2021’, the statement reads
Penpushing further reports that, Aigoro until his appointment was the Permanent Secretary, Hospitals Management Board as Consultant, and joined the State Public Service at the Hospitals Management as Consultant (Orthopaedic), GL 15 on the 6th January, 1998.
The new Head of Service was born on the 25th March, 1963, and he is a Consultant Orthopaedic/Trauma Surgeon with special interest in Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty, also a Fellow of many professional bodies including Nigeria Medical Association(NMA), Nigerian Orthopaedic Association, International College of Surgeon, SICOT International Association of Orgtopaedic Surgeons and Traumatologists, Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management and Nigeria Institute of Management.
Penpushing also reports that, he is a recipient of awards including ‘The best Health Worker Award’ 2007 by the Ogun State Government, and also a committed member of Penpushing platform who number of time served as member of communiqué drafting committee on the platform towards betterment of Nigeria
