Penpushing member Florence Okpe attains higher level in office
A member of Penpushing platform, Florence Okpe who is the Superintendent Route Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ogun State Command has added another feather to her professional career following her promotion to higher level in the service.
Penpushing reports that Okpe was on Monday decorated with her new rank of Chief Route Commander alongside other 47 officers at ceremony held at police officers mess, Government Reservation Area (GRA), Abeokuta, the state capital.
The event was witnessed by number of officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps(FRSC), Ogun State Command led by the Sector Commander, Umar, and host of other chieftains of the security operatives ,as well as other dignitaries
Penpushing further reports that Okpe joined the corps in 1997 as a senior road marshal and converted into officers cadre in 2007 as Deputy Route Commander, having served in various commands which include Benin Zonal Command, Lagos and Bayelsa commands
The newly promoted officer has a Degree in Agriculture Extension and Management and Masters Degree in Transport Management from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, Oyo State.
Penpushing also reports that Okpe, who is an indigene of Cross River State, is currently Public Education Officer of the Ogun State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), with headquarters located in Government Reservation Area (GRA),Ibara, Abeokuta
The Cross River State born officer who was beaming with smiles as she was being decorated with her new rank, during an interview with journalists could not hold back her joy, as she emphasized that she is happy for attaining the new level in her professional career
Penpushing reports that the Chief Route Commander emphasized that the promotion will further encouraged her to be more proactive in carrying out her duties, with a pledge to work towards making the agency proud
