Penpushing member, Adewunmi Alayaki to deliver lecture at physicians’ week
A notable member of penpushing platform, Dr Adewunmi Alayaki is to deliver a lecture at the Physicians’ week of Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Ogun State Chapter,which is slated for Tuesday, October 25, 2022 in Abeokuta, the State Capital
Penpushing reports that Alayaki, a renowned medical practitioner will speak on the topic “Nigeria’s Healthcare Delivery system and the 2023 Democratic Transition; a time to change the narrative”,at the programme scheduled to hold at the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) House located at Lukosi, along Moshood Abiola way in the town
The guest lecturer, a one time National Secretary of Nigerian Medical Association(NMA) and Medical Director of Hope Hospital in Abeokuta will also touch on individual involvement in the rot that is pervading the country, with focus more on the part of politicians, moreso as electioneering started, with lots of revelation coming out
“We are all involved one way or the other in the rot that’s pervading our country, although more on the part of our corrupt politicians, electioneering has started and a lot of revelations are coming out, ignorance and poverty on the side of electorate will make them sell their conscience to few naira notes, fez cap, T-shirts, few congos of rice etc, must this continue?”, he said
“NO, the earlier we sensitize the electorate to eschew vote buying and vote according to their conscience, the better for us. The change starts with you and I. Information is key in letting people know that we are underserved despite the affluence in this country”, Alayaki emphasised.
