Penpushing Media has put you ahead of your colleagues, Sina Aina tells interns

The former Head of Department Mass Communications of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, Dr Sina Aina has told the students undergoing their industrial work experience scheme with Penpushing Media to see it as good opportunity for them to be super stars in the media industry in their future practice.

Penpushing reports that Aina made this known during assessment of the students’ performances on Thursday at the corporate headquarters of the media outlet located at Leme axis of Moshood Abiola way, Abeokuta.

The Chief lecturer who was accompanied by Mrs Abolore Adeyemi, Chief Technologist in the institution said the interns should regard themselves lucky to have passed through the founder of the organization, who is a known thoroughbred media practitioner.

Penpushing further reports that Aina, revealed to the students that he had been a colleague of the founder as practicing journalists over three decades ago, and can as well  vouch for his professionalism, adding that the school management is comfortable for posting them to Penpushing Media for their practical work experience.

The former Head of Department encouraged the students to remain focused, and should not take the opportunity of learning from the globally known media establishment for granted, adding that journalism is known to open door of success for committed practitioners with passion for the profession.

Penpushing also reports that in addition, he said as journalists they should be courageous and bold in the course of practice, stressing that the passion and commitment of the founder was enough for them to emulate and become relevant in the profession.

The coordinator of the interns from the polytechnic, Adeyemi in her own remarks expressed appreciation to the editorial board and management of Penpushing Media for accommodating the students.

Penpushing reports that she said feedback the institution received showed both the former and present interns with the organization have become pride of the polytechnic, having observed that they have improved both in academic and practical aspects of journalism

‘We want to thank the management of penpushing media for accommodating our students. We can see clearly that the organization has injected knowledge in them, and we are proud on this. For those of them here, they should regard themselves lucky to pass through the media organization. It is also on record that the organization had trained number of our students in the last five years and they are all doing well’, Adeyemi stated
