Penpushing Media has evolved as authentic brand in journalism, says Ogun State Head of Service
The Ogun State Head of Service Kehinde Onasanya has affirmed that Penpushing Media has evolved as a brand anchored on professionalism, which made it possible for the media outlet to be relevant globally in the field of journalism.
Penpushing reports that Onasanya made this known when he visited the corporate headquarters of the establishment located in Leme axis of Moshood Abiola way, Ogun State Capital alongside two Permanent Secretaries which include Waheed Adesina of Ministry of Information and Austin Oyesanwe of Bureau of Politics and Administration
The number one civil servant in the state who arrived the office complex at about 11am in company of his team was received by the management and editorial board of the organization and was thereafter conducted round the office.
Penpushing further reports that Onasanya added that the media organization is a model for ethic standard and capacity building for would be journalists, and usher in the true essence of what an ideal journalism should be in the society
‘I came to Penpushing today as the 20th Head of Service of Ogun State. I am happy to note that Penpushing has evolved as a brand anchored on professionalism, ethical standard and capacity building for would be journalists’, he added
Penpushing also reports that he is proud to be association with the organization, adding that he is equally happy to be a member of the platform, and was of the conviction that the establishment is a voice to be reckon with.
The Head of Service commended the management for injecting corporate social responsibility to the operations, citing examples of number of feats recorded by the organization in coming to the aid of the needy
Penpushing reports that the founder of the media organization, Prince Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji earlier in his welcome speech narrated the journey of the organization, adding that it was established to correct and tackle the menace of fake news which is almost becoming daily occurrence in the world, with its greater negative impact in our clime, particularly owing to myriads of online communication channels
‘Similarly, it aims to revive the dwindling fortune of journalism practice and be a credible platform for genuine news to its readers across the globe. In line with our mission, we shall consciously want to err on the side of caution to authenticate news for dissemination on Penpushing platform’, Kayode-Adedeji emphasized
The founder said the media outlet is in partnership with United Nations Information Centre (UNIC), a member of International Press Council (IPC) with headquarters in Switzerland and member Guild of Online Corporate Publishers (GOCOP)
Penpushing further reports that he added that the establishment is member Nigeria Guild of Editors (NGE), Media Consultant for ECOWAS- Federation of Business Women and Entrepreneurs (FEBWE) and media partner with Leading Women of Africa Group, Cape Town, South Africa among others
