Penpushing media founder gives out daughter in marriage

The Founder of Penpushing Media, Prince Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji on Thursday gave out his daughter, Olabisi Kayode-Adedeji in marriage, a ceremony which attracted number of dignitaries from all walks of life, who were in attendance.

Penpushing reports that, the colourful wedding between the daughter of the veteran journalist and Babatunde Adeboye was held, at Hall of Cathedral of St. Peters Ake, Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital, which was kick-started with traditional engagement.

The traditional engagement lasted for two hours, and thereafter the train of the ceremony was shifted to reception in same hall, where guests were treated to wining and dining, as well as musician entertaining the guests

Penpushing further reports that, the family head of the bride from Ilesa town, Osun State, Prof Yemi Kayode-Adedeji, accompanied by Mrs Omolara Kayode-Adedeji, Idowu Kayode-Adedeji and Seyi Kayode-Adedeji were not left out in the ceremony

The family of the groom led by the father, Chief Kehinde Adeboye were not left out in the joyous mood, as well, as the marriage ceremony lasted, expressing appreciation to the Kayode-Adedeji family for consenting to give out their daughter in marriage to their son

Penpushing also reports that, notable dignitaries include Chief (Mrs) Bola Obasanjo, wife of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, His Royal Majesty, Oba Olufemi Ogunleye(Tiwalade of Akinale Owu Kingdom), Chief Bode Mustapha(Osi of Egbaland), Chief Niyi Adegbenro, Mrs Sola Ibidapo-Obe, Ogbeni Lanre Banjo and Senator Gbenga  Obadara

The others are Hon Adekunle  Akinlade(Deputy Governorship Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, Ogun State Chapter), Rt Hon Suraj Adekunbi(former Speaker Ogun State House of Assembly), Deacon Owolabi Oladejo(owner of Metropolitan Broadcasting Service) and Engr Dideolu Falobi(Managing Director, Krestal Laurel Engineering Company)

Penpushing reports that, the guests also include Deaconess Olufunke Fadugba(Chairman Editorial Board, Penpushing Media), Mrs Olayinka Shokunbi(veteran journalist) Commander Jacinta  Asetubobe  of Navy Secondary School, Abeokuta, Dr Adewunmi Alayaki( former National Secretary Nigerian Medical Association) Commander Bodunrin,(Nigeria Civil  Defence Security Corps) and Chief Akande(Aare Ago of Owu Kingdom)

The  other dignitaries include Chief Niyi Adegbenro, Dr Goke Rauf, Dr Lekan Oketokun, Prince Segun Adewale(former Governorship aspirant Peoples Democratic Party, Ogun State Chapter), Sina Adefolahan, BarristerBenjamin  Ogunmodede(Legal Adviser, Penpushing Media), Samson Akindele(General Manager, Fresh FM, Abeokuta), Mrs Toyin Ogunbomehin(Principal Remo Secondary School, Sagamu) and Segun Orisajo(Public Relations Officer, Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta)

Penpushing further reports that, the list also include: Chief Funsho Akinwande, Neye Kehinde(Divisional Police Officer in Osun State, Chief Bode Bankole,  and Chief(Mrs) Susanah Adewale(grandmother of the bride)

The professional bodies and organizations in attendance include: Guild of Corporate Online Publishers, Nigeria Union of Journalists, University of Ibadan, management and staff Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta, led by Alhaji Fasiu Oladipupo, management staff and students of College of Broadcasting affiliate of Crescent University, Abeokuta

Penpushing  also  reports that, the bride father, during an interview with journalists, profusely expressed appreciation to God to have allowed him to witness the marriage of his daughter, adding that, that would be second marriage, having last year did same for the new bride elder sister

“I’m very grateful and the reason is that this is the second wedding ceremony I’m going to do for my children, last year was her elder sister’s own and we are doing her own today and they are both female. For me to do that for them when I’m still alive is a happy thing for me and I believe that with God’s Grace they will spend their live in good terms” he said

Penpushing reports that, he advised the couple to love themselves and make sure they don’t allow third party in their relationship in other to have a peaceful marriage, stressing that they should use wisdom to resolve any issues.

“My advice for them is that they should love themselves ,and second one which is important is that there is no way that there won’t be misunderstanding between two people, so once it happens they have to use wisdom and knowledge to live together and they should make sure there is no third party in their relationship” he said.

Penpushing further reports that, the bride’s mother, Princess Oluyemisi Kayode-Adedeji urged the couple to follow God, know God, and work with God so their ways and path remain straight, adding that before the marriage she has been mentoring them on keeping good home.

The father of the groom in his remarks congratulated the couple, adding that the family is comfortable with their in-laws, stressing that, from the relationship before getting to marriage, stage, the family was convinced about the good conduct and moral training of the bride

‘I am so much happy about the home our son has make a choice of a wife, No doubt, my family is convinced about the relationship of the two of them, and I called on them, to see worshiping God as important to successful marriage’, Adeboye emphasized.

Penpushing also  reports that, the former Speaker Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Suraj Adekunmbi  in his own contributions advised the couple to  see themselves as one and build their home on platform of prayer and the should tolerate each other.

“My advice for them is just to see themselves as one and I want to urge them to build their home, to build it on platform of prayer and they should do anything in their means to ensure that they tolerate each other” he said.

Penpushing further  report that, the wife of the former Nigeria president, Mrs Bola Obasanjo while speaking called on the couple to make prayers their guide, and that, parents should not desist in supporting them in prayers

Meanwhile, duo of two popular broadcasters Wale Bakare of Fresh FM and Musiliu Sanni known as Bebe in broadcasting industry, were on ground as the master of ceremonies, and added glamour to the ceremony with rib-cracking jokes
