
Penpushing Media bestows posthumous awards on deceased members
The Editorial Board in conjunction with Planning Committee of Penpushing Media on behalf of membership across the globe have bestowed posthumous awards on four deceased members of the platform.
Penpushing reports that the awards which was part of the 7th anniversary lecture of the media organization, owner of online newspaper and television took place on Thursday at Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital.

The late members include a foremost traditional ruler Oba Olufemi Ogunleye (Towulade of Akinale in Owu Kingdom of Egbaland), Iyalode Alaba Lawson (Iyalode of Yorubaland), Mr Joseph Shopade(Humanitarian Staff with United Nations Development Programme(UNDP) and Mrs Adesola Adenopo(business tycoon)
Penpushing further reports that the ceremony was attended by families of the deceased, which include Olori Adenike Ogunleye (widow of the monarch), Akinola Lawson (first child of Iyalode Lawson), Mrs Femi Shopade(widow of Shopade) and Muyiwa Adenopo(husband of Adesola Adenopo)

The management of Penpushing Media explained that the deceased were honoured for their exemplary supportive roles played by them towards the positive growth of the media establishment while still alive
Penpushing also reports that Adenopo in response to the award expressed the family appreciation to the media outlet, stressing that the family is highly honoured by the exceptional award.

Penpushing reports that Akinola on behalf of the Lawson family expressed profuse appreciation, pointing out that the founder was as restless in actions as their late mother, stressing that Penpushing Media has touched many lives

‘Good morning Egbon. I cannot thank you enough for yesterday. I can also see that you and Mama are kindred spirits as you are so alike. Looking at your restless actions yesterday, you refused to sit down just like Iyalode’, he wrote.
‘You have touched many lives just like Mama too and a pioneer in your field. I pray that may the Almighty continue to bless you beyond all human understanding in Jesus name Amen’, Lawson added
Penpushing further reports that widow of the monarch in response on behalf of the family said the family is grateful for the honour, affirming Penpushing Media relationship and professional friendship with the deceased
“Thank you so very much my dear brother. On behalf of the family we appreciate your relationship and professional friendship with my late Kabiyesi. Odun a jina sira o. Amin”, she emphasised
Penpushing reports that widow of Shopade equally appreciated Penpushing Media stressing that the posthumous award to her husband was great and well appreciated, and commended the organization
