The Chairman, Editorial Board of Penpushing Media, Deaconess Olufunke Fadugba has been nominated as a discussant at a workshop on Journalism and Digitalisation orgnasied by Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE)
Penpushing reports that, the letter forwarded to the veteran journalist who was a two term chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Lagos State Council said she was nominated by the Nigerian Guild of Editors(NGE)
The Chairman Organising Committee of the workshop, Bolaji Adebiyi in the letter explained that the event is scheduled to hold between 15th and 16th of July, 2022 in Lagos State, and designed for Managing Editors and Editors of major news outlets in the country
Penpsuhing further reports that, the organizing committee in the letter disclosed that, the theme of the workshop is Journalism and Digitalisation: The Imperative of Good Corporate Governance, while Fadugba is to discuss the sub-theme: ‘Journalism and the Law: Who Watches the Watchdog?’
‘I wish to inform you that the NGE has nominated you to be a discussant at its workshop holding on 15th &16th July, 2022 in Lagos. The theme is Journalism and Digitalisation: The Imperative of Good Corporate Governance’, the letter reads.
‘You are to discuss the sub-theme: Journalism and the Law: Who Watches the Watchdog? The workshop is for MDs and Editors of the major news outlets in the country. I hope you will oblige us’, the letter emphaised.
