OYO POLICE PARADES SUSPECTED MURDERER OF EX-BOSS WIFE

 ‘Following the last press briefing in which the Command showcased the arrest of some suspected notorious armed robbers terrorizing the State, aggressive drives towards making the security objectives reality through proactive approach and sustainable community policing strategy, the men of Oyo State Command has arrested one Adeyemi Morenikeji for murder, three suspects for kidnapping, twelve suspects for armed robbery, and two suspects for cultists.

The police boss noted that one ‘Adeyemi Morenikeji’ killed his boss and took her phone and car,  ran away to Sango-Ota Area of Ogun State before he was tracked down by Police and arrested.

“One Rachel Oyewunmi 51yrs who was a staff at Federal School of Survey, in Oyo town was strangled to death in a bush by her husband ex driver,  Adeyemi Morenikeji, along Oyo/Awe road under the pretense of taking her for prayer, and Adeyemi after killing her ex-boss wife took her phone and Vibe Pontiac car and ran away to Sango-Ota Area of Ogun State, the suspect was later arrested by the police.”

Penpushing further reports that, the suspect while speaking with  journalists confessed to the crime and said that he committed the crime because he was owed salaries and his boss wife supported her husband to sack him.

The suspect  an indigene of Abeokuta, Ogun State pointed out that he has been working with the couple for over  four years,  as a commercial driver where he used their vehicle for commercial from Whaff in Lagos to Kogi State.

“The vehicle I was using for commercial broke down and my failure to repair it after four days was what make my boss to relief me of my job, I was owed salaries,  and my boss wife supported her husband to sack me,  since then I’ve been looking for a way to retaliate because I was not a able to take care of my pregnant wife which led to the death of my wife new born baby.”

“I tricked the woman that we are going for prayers, although she has already told me that she needed prayer and that I should take her to a prayer meeting. I strangled her to death after she came out of her car to answer call of nature along Iwo/Oyo Express way,  I later took her car and phone and ran away to Sango Ota in Ogun State where I was later arrested after being tracked  by the police.”

“I regretted my actions  because I killed someone which I’ve never done in my life, I lost my mother 22 years ago and my father abandoned me without giving me any home training”, the suspect said while lamenting
