OYO POLICE ARREST 21 YEAR OLD ROBBERY GANG LEADER, SIX OTHERS
The Police Chief reiterated further that this gang were responsible for inter state robbery and splitted their evil trade in Lagos, Osun, Oyo and Ogun where it snatched vehicles at gun point and removed it where they were parked
“The gang in one of its operations invaded the residence of one Michael, Agbaje at Parra Street, Airport area, Ibadan at about 0130hrs of 24/5/2018 and robbed him of a large sum of money, his licence firearm and a Toyota Camry car”
Speaking with the gang leader popularly called ‘DON’, he told journalists that his gang killed three of their victims during their operation and that they have snatched ten cars since they have started the robbery operation almost a year ago
“The mode of our operation is that we use to snatched cars, and we will now use this car to robbed another victim, we didn’t sell any car we snatched, we only use this car to robbed another victim, we only sell the phones and laptop of our victims”
The other members of the gang include; Adewale Fagunmoju, Abiodun Fadipe, Kareem Ibrahim, Taofeek Otaobayomi, Akinleye Usman, Lateef Sulaiman who was the operational driver, and Mohammed Bello who was the one that use to receive the stolen items
Exhibits recovered from the gang include; one pump action gun, two cut to size locally made guns, twenty three cartridges, one Toyota Carina E saloon car, two Toyota sport cars, a 2012 model Toyota Siena space bus, one Ford Jeep, one Infinity Jeep and one Honda Accord Saloon Car
