OYO GOVERNMENT TO TRANSFORM IGBOORA COMMUNITY TO TOURIST CENTRE, AS WORLD TWINS HEADQUARTERS

In his own remark, the Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Honorable Habib Adegoke Ibrahim said that the event was neither a product of imagination nor a fiction, noting that evidence attest to the fact that twins are born in Igboora land more than anywhere in the world

Hear him ‘ Igboora is one of the most extraordinary discoveries in Nigeria, while Europe boast of about sixteen twins for every one thousand births, five set of twins per one thousand live birth are recorded in the Southwest area of Nigeria and Igboora alone can boast of one hundred and fifty eight set of twins for every one thousand live birth’

“There is no household in this town without a history of at least a set of twins, this trend has made us not to see twins birth as a special phenomenon in this town as it is somewhere else in the world”

Penpushing reports that, Adegoke, however, urged the corporate organisation and all who may wish to join hands with the Oyo State Government so as to have a more benefiting Twins Festival next year

The twins Ambassador in the world, Taiwo and Kehinde  Oguntoyinbo in their remarks also used themselves to proclaimed the goodness of twins,adding that  over a thousand set of twins were present at the event, expressing optimism that they were targeting 10,000 set of twins to declare next year World Twins Day

“We already had a partnership with guineses book of record, so we are going to transform and encourage all the twins to showcase their potential in Nigeria, Africa and the entire world”
