The aspirant who was accompanied by his supporters and party faithful, while speaking to his hosts expressed readiness to continue with the ongoing transformation, restoration and repositioning agenda of his boss, Governor Abiola Ajimobi-led administration.
“Ajimobi has dualised roads in Iseyin, Ogbomoso, Saki and Okeho. Playing ethnic politics would not help the state. All the state needs is a competent and not sectional leader,’’ he said, stating that MKO Abiola, Olusegun Obasanjo, late Umaru Yar’Adua and President Muhammadu Buhari won elections in the country not on the basis of their state of origin.
“I am proud of this government and all it has done in terms of infrastructure, education, agriculture, health and human capital development,” he emphasised
