Owu mediation centre douses tension in Elere, Ajipatutu communities over land dispute.
The Owu mediation Centre recently set up by Olowu of Owu Kingdom in Egbaland, Oba Saka Matemilola has successfully doused tension in Elere and Ajipatutu communities over land dispute.
Penpushing reports that that the monarch had directed the centre, led by Oba Olufemi Ogunleye, Towulade Akinale and Akogun Owu, Chief Ishola Akinsipo to intervene in a land dispute between the two committees to him by the disputants.
The quick intervention to resolve a boundary dispute between two Owu towns in Ewekoro Local Government of Ogun State has, however, averted a potential strife in the communities.
Penpushing further reports that in a jiffy after a plenary session with the disputants, Oba Ogunleye and his mediative team proceeded to the locus inquo where they were conducted round land marks on the towns’ boundaries.
The Ogunleye led team with the assistance of surveyors and town planners in the mediative team, series of sketches and derivative tangents had been estaisged to assist resolution, as discussion progresses.
