OSOBA LEADS DIGNITARIES TO LAY FOUNDATION OF JOURNALISM SCHOOL

The General Secretary of Journalists’ Estate Residents Association (JERDA), phase one, Toye Olori in a statement said the ceremony is scheduled to hold 2pm, adding that the Chief Host is Otunba Olusegun Rusenwe, Director General of National Council for Arts and Culture, who donated the first building for the takeoff of Journalists’ International  School (JIS) in 2007.

‘The Foundation Laying Ceremony of an ultra-modern  new building for Journalists’ International Schools, Journalists’ Estate Phase one, Arepo, Ogun State, will take place on Sunday, December 29th at the School Premises at 2 pm’.

Penpushing further reports that, the statement said, co-hosts include all past Chairmen of Journalists’ Estate Residents Association (JERDA),explaining that Journalists’ International  School (JIS) which commenced operations 5 years ago has graduated learners who are currently in various Federal  Government and Private Secondary Schools across the country..

‘The sod turning of the new building will be performed by the Special Guest of Honour,  Aremo Olusegun Osoba, a former Executive Governor of Ogun State and Chairman, Board of Trustees of Journalists’ Estate Residents Association (JERDA) Phase one’.

‘The Chief Host is Otunba Olusegun Runsewe, Director General of National Council for Arts and Culture, who donated the first building for the takeoff of Journalists’ International  School (JIS) in 2007. Co-hosts include all past Chairmen of JERDA’, the statement emphasised.

The statement said, it is a privately owned community school of the estate which primes itself as  a brand that gives high quality education service even while serving to meet the needs of children of Journalists and those in the immediate environment.
