ONE YEAR AFTER, AMOSUN REINSTATES SACKED LABOUR CONGRESS CHAIRMAN
The meeting was said to be initiated by the Government following resolution of the workforce to embark on protest, and in response, the Governor threatened to disgrace the workers if they should go ahead with the protest, while the congress declared that the Governor has no monopoly of threat.
Penpushing further reports that, the National President Comrade Ayuba Wabba speaking with journalists after the meeting between the two parties, said the Governor has magnanimously asked that the sacked Chairman be reinstated.
He said the Governor also said that all other issues including payment of outstanding gratuity, contributory pension scheme, Tai Solarin University matter will be amicably resolved, and thanked the Governor.
Penpushing also reports that, Governor Amosun while speaking described the issue as communication gap which have been amicably closed and thanked the National leadership of the congress for their doggedness and commitment to the cause of workers, saying the entire Ogun State workers would be better for it..
