
Olowu hosts Achudume’s daughter, husband, offers royal blessings
The Olowu of Owu Kingdom of Abeokuta, Oba (Prof) Saka Matemilola on Monday played host to daughter of General Overseer of Victory Life Bible Church (VLBC) and her husband who got married last Saturday in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital.
Penpushing reports that the couple Mr and Mrs Israel Oluwatobiloba Lawal arrived the palace at Oke-Ago Owu at about 10.15am and welcomed by the Chiefs who ushered them in to meet the first-class traditional ruler, who equally gave them a royal welcome.
The father of the bride Apostle Lawrence Achudume who was outside the town for evangelism engagement was represented by Founder of Penpushing Media Prince Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji who led the couple on the visit to the monarch.


Penpushing further reports that Kayode-Adedeji earlier in his speech explained to the royal father that he led the couple on the visit on the directive of the cleric, and equally appreciated the host monarch for the honour extended to the couple, pointing out the gesture was a pointer that he cherished the families of the couple.
The renowned journalist added that the visit will be memorable to the couple, boost and add value to their relationship and matrimonial home as well as equally called on the monarch to offer them royal blessings, adding that the couple remain pride of their parents.
Penpushing also reports that Olowu in his remarks congratulated the couple, offered prayers as well as royal blessings and equally encouraged them to be Godly in their home as they jointly start permanent journey in marriage, stressing that they should avoid negative interference from third party, but keep their home intact and leave in peace.

The traditional ruler prayed that the couple will reap fruits of marriage and tasked them to address any differences with love, and avoid hammering on shortcomings of individual, emphasizing that they should know that no human being is perfect, as well as considering different backgrounds they came from
“God will bless your home, you will reap fruits of marriage, your marriage will not be a regret. You will also give your children in marriage. Your courtship was just a starting point to solidify your marriage. Accept each other in loving manner”, Matemilola stated.
“There will also be differences, but must be able to resolve amicably and avoid third party in crisis management. Always look at good side of each other, nobody is perfect. You must learn to tolerate each other”, he emphasised

Penpushing reports that Matemilola, who later made gift presentations told the couple that they should see their marriage to serve as good reference for others, and ensure they emulate integrity of their parents and avoid what might derail them from good conduct and behaviour
The husband in response on behalf of his immediate family, expressed appreciation to Olowu of Owu Kingdom for the honour bestowed on them and promised that they will both reside together as responsible couple all time
