Oil explosion kills many in rivers state

An explosion from a crude oil tapping point which cause was still unknown as at the time of this report has killed many people in early hours of Friday.

Penpushing reports that the incident occurred at Rumuekpe community located in Emohua local government area of Rivers State, while casualties also include women

The Rivers State Police Command Public Relations Officer.  Grace Iringe-Koko, has confirmed the incident but did not disclose the cause of the incident and the number of victims,adding that the police would soon issue a statement on the incident.
