The Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency,(TRACE) has bagged the Best Traffic Support Organisation award at a ceremony held at hall of D’Podium International Event Center, Ikeja, Lagos State
Penpushing reports that, the award of excellence was in appreciation of the agency superlative performances, and the brainchild of Lagos Traffic Radio 96.1 FM, in commemoration of the establishment 10th anniversary.
The General Manager of the Station, Mr Tayo Akanle, while presenting the award extols the contributions of the agency in informing, sensitizing and educating the general public, particularly the motoring public, on the need to be safety conscious and considerate to other users of road, through on time and real time traffic alert, as it unfolds on frontier areas bordering Ogun and Lagos States, especially the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, which is the busiest expressway in West Africa.
Penpushing further reports that, Akanle saluted the traffic agency for enriching the content and acceptability of Lagos Traffic Radio, 96.1fm as a reliable, trustworthy and dependable station of repute, when it comes to traffic advisory, alert and situation report as it affects traffic flow, hold up and commerce.
The Commander of Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency,(TRACE),Commander Seni Ogunyemi in response thanked the management of Lagos Traffic Radio, 96.1fm, for the award adding that it was motivational.
Penpushing also reports that, the Chief Executive of the agency represented by the Public Relations Officer, Commander Babatunde Akinbiyi, assured of the organisation commitment towards ensuring safe and responsible driving along and around the boarder lines separating both states, for effective service delivery to be achieved, through prompt and credible traffic reportage.
