Ogun State confirms 2 new coronavirus cases
The Ogun State Government said late night of Monday that it has recorded another two new cases of coronavirus, with information that the victims have no history of recent travel or close connection with any positive case in the State
Penpushing reports that, Governor, Dapo Abiodun made this known at a press conference, emphasising that the development which showed that the patients have no history as returnees from abroad, nor have contact with already identified cases contradict erroneous belief that the disease is only associated with the elites.
The Governor disclosed to journalists that the two patients are from Obafemi – Owode and Yewa South Local government areas of the state respectively, and have been taken to isolation centre in the State.
Penpushing further reports that, Abiodun used the press conference to announce relax in the lockdown in the State, adding that between the hours 7am and 2pm residents can use the period for economic activities most especially to the advantages of daily income earners.
