Ogun state commissioner provides succour for nursing mother co-habiting with beggars

The Ogun State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hon. Adijat Adeleye-Oladapo has given succour to a 24-year-old woman, Mrs. Aminat Oladehinde, co-habiting with beggars after giving birth to a premature baby.

Penpushing reports that  Adeleye-Oladapo on visit to the woman said necessary interventions would be made to rehabilitate the her by ensuring that a means of livelihood was provided for her to support her husband and children.

The Commissioner added that the present administration prioritizes the welfare of women and children in the state, assuring that necessary steps would be taken to make life comfortable for the women while more will be done to create a safer and more supportive environment for those in need.

Penpushing further reports that she equally rescued a nine-month-old baby from his mother, who begs for money around the Abeokuta metropolis explaining that the lady had been rehabilitated severally by the Ministry but kept returning to the streets.
