OGUN POLICE COMMAND DECORATES TWENTY- SIX NEWLY PROMOTED OFFICERS
The Commissioner disclosed the details of the new officers as eight Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) promoted to the rank of Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACP), and eighteen Superintendent of Police elevated to the ranks of Chief Superintendent of Police(CSP), while 40 became confirmed Assistant Superintendent of Police.
Penpushing further reports that, the promoted officers were full of excitement during the ceremony, as they were seen exchanging congratulatory banters with themselves, as well as their colleagues at the headquarters joined them in the celebration mood.
The Commissioner, while speaking after the ceremony , thanked the Inspector General of Police for counting his men worthy of the promotion exercise, adding that, it will serve as morale boost for them to be more proactive in the policing duty.
Penpushing also reports that, the Ebrimson called on the promotees to show more commitment, zeal and determination to their work, considering security challenges in the country, which they all have major roles to play.
‘The elevation is a boost and reward for hard work, and hardwork is to work hard. I thank the Inspector General of Police, for finding my men worthy for the promotions. We are going to walk to the tall’, the police boss said.
Penpushing further reports that, two of the newly promoted officers, John Agwoye, Assistant Commissioner of Police and Olanrewaju Kalejaiye who is promoted to the position of Chief Superintendent of Police who spoke on behalf of all beneficiaries expressed appreciation to the Inspector General of Police.
The beneficiaries admitted that the promotions will serve as moral boost for them to work harder for the betterment of the nation’s security, with assurance that they would contribute further to the security development of Nigeria
