COURT OF APPEAL NULLIFIES ADELEKE’S TRIBUNAL VICTORY, AFFIRMS OYETOLA’S ELECTION

The five-man panel of Court of Appeal led by Justice Jummai Sankey upheld the appeal filed by Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the State challenging the verdict of the tribunal and affirmed him as duly elected Governor

It is recalled that, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after the supplementary Governorship election in the State declared Oyetola winner, which was challenged by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and its candidate.
