OGUN ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS MAY ADOPT DIRECT PRIMARIES ON WEDNESDAY, AS STAKEHOLDERS ROUND OFF STRATEGY
Penpushing also learnt that, many of the party carrying members also sent a signal that, any attempt to upturn the popular decision on direct primaries may lead to legal action by them, arguing that as qualified party members they have all right to challenge the party for any action considered as unpopular.
As at the time of filing this report findings by Penpushing also revealed that another round of meeting has been scheduled to hold on Wednesday at the party headquarters, in Abeokuta, where the pronouncement will be made.
Penpushing authoritatively reports that, the stakeholders expected at the meeting include; members of the State Executive, former Governors and former Deputy Governors, who are still members of All Progressives Congress (APC),
Others are; present and past Senators, present and past members House of Representatives, who are still members of the party, current members of the Ogun State House of Assembly. Our findings also showed that many of the stakeholders are aspirants to various offices under the party in the forthcoming elections.
