Obasanjo to lead dignitaries to 2025 Odun Aje Onire celebration
The former President Olusegun Obasanjo will lead other notable dignitaries to the Odun Aje Onire 2025 celebration scheduled to hold on February 24, 2025 in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital.
Penpushing reports that Covener of the event Princess Kehinde Sobayo made this known explaining that the ceremony has been designed to honour Yoruba heritage in celebrating richness of icon prosperity, adding that it will hold 10am at Oba Odeleye Park (Ori Omi), Sokori, Abeokuta, the ancient town.
The convener disclosed that Obasanjo who is the father of the day will be joined by three first class traditional rulers which include Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, Osile Oke-Ona, Oba Adedapo Tejuoso and Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba Saka Matemilola
Penpushing further reports that the convener who is the lyalaje Oniré Egba, Erelu Àjé Owu and Seriki Aje Keesi added that, the other dignitary is Sultan (Dr.) M. Ola Yusuf,.who is Olu of Eleyele town,Olori Parakoyi Owu and Sarumi Egba, while mothers of the day are Chief (Mrs) Abeke Óluwakemi Oloyede (lyaloja of Egbaland) and Alhaja Chief (Mrs) Tejumade Adelekan popularly called (Tee Black) and Gbe’gba-Aje of Egbaland
