NIGERIAN THEATRE PRACTITIONERS SET TO HOLD NATIONAL CONVENTION

Speaking further, Alexander, who was accompanied by some other veteran in the profession explained that, the convention was shifted from the earlier proposed date, to the above new dates, due to  the various political / party primaries going on in the country,

He said arrival date is October 10, when accreditation of participants will start between 9am-2pm, and ‘welcomanza at Cultural Centre by 6pm, while on the second day, there will be acclimatization with Cultural Centre for the drama presentations between 9am and 1pm

The Planning Committee added that, the opening Ceremony is to take place at the Providence Event Centre, Abiola Way, Abeokuta by 2pm, while Day 3, is earmarked for seminars between 9am and 1pm,to be follow with drama  presentations which starts at 2pm

Penpushing further reports that, Day 4 is for the Annual General Meeting(AGM) scheduled between 9am and 12pm, while award of prizes takes place 12pm. The Committee said online portal will be opened next week for registration, and the portal will close a week to the convention, with a call on members to ensure that registration is completed within the time frame.
