NIGERIAN STUDENTS WILL DETERMINE NEXT GOVERNOR OF OYO STATE, ASSOCIATION DECLARES
The statement signed by Morounkola further stressed that there was need for every Governorship candidates preparing to govern Oyo State to have a workable plans on providing qualitative and standard education to students in the State.
Penpushing also reports that, the students’ leader explained that the problem facing education in Oyo State include incessant strike of the tertiary institutions, unavailability of sufficient infrastructure and poor funding.
His words, “Nigeria students have heard a lot of campaign promises from the so-called candidates, it is high time we access their plans on education in Oyo State which is the most sacrosanct to us and as a result helps in determining the genuine candidate among them’.
Penpushing further reports that, Moronkola noted that Oyo State students have suffered a lot in education in recent time which is due to aforementioned the association cannot afford to be aloof while the process that will determine their future is going on.
He however urged the people of the State to be on the look out and get ready to collectively make education available for all by making the best planner of education the next Governor in the coming general election, assuring that students will not hesitate to mobilised for such person in due time.
