Penpushing further reports that, Melaye, a known prolific dancer and composer of ‘Ajekun iya’ political lyrics said he was still much interested in the Governorship seat of Kogi State, expressing optimism that, he would win the Governorship race scheduled to hold in November.

“There will be fresh election in Kogi West because I will be Governor. For my Senate mandate no shaking,’’ he wrote.

Penpushing recalled that, the three-member panel of the election petition tribunal led by Justice A. O. Chijioke, while delivering judgement unanimously held that the election was shrouded in controversy and marred by widespread malpractices.
