Mother of Penpushing member dies at 73
The Queen of drums, Araola Olamuyiwa, who is a prominent member of Penpushing platform is bereaved following the death of her mother, Nusirat Victoria Olamuyiwa at 73 years, which occurred Tuesday, December,28, 2021
Penpushing reports that, the Africa first female talking drummer, popularly called Ara made this known in a statement forwarded to Penpushing media, adding that the late woman will be buried on Friday December 31st.
The statement added that, there will be a service of songs onThursday December 30th, 2021 at the deceased residence located at number 4 Akinola Solanke street, Ajao Estate, Lagos State by 4pm
‘It’s a wonderful exit for our mother, grandmother, great grandmother. She was aged 73years. There will be Service of Songs at her residence, 4 Akinola Solanke Street, Ajao Estate Lagos* on Thursday 30th Dec, 2021 by 4pm’, the statement reads
Penpushing further reports that, the bereaved daughter , disclosed that the burial will take place at Omega Funeral Homes,located at Cypsolu Obuzes Street, off Kings Avenue, Ojodu Berger, Lagos, adding that procession will start from her residence at 9:00am.

The management, editorial board and entire membership of Penpushing media across the globe has, however, commiserated with the bereaved queen of drums over the loss,adding that Ara as one of its members the organisation shared in her grief
Penpushing also reports that, a statement issued by the founder of the organisation, Prince Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji pointed out that, no doubt,Mama lived a fulfilled life, and with information available to the management, she’s a mother every child would want to have as a mother.
‘Mama, died at a ripe age, notwithstanding, its always painful to loose loved ones, but we should appreciate God for life well spent and prayed for soul of Mama to rest in perfect peace’, Kayode-Adedeji wrote
