MOSHOOD ABIOLA POLYTECHNIC STUDENTS UNION INTRODUCES E-VOTING TO ELECT OFFICERS

The election, however, produced Samson Omoniyi (aka Heritage) of the Department of Mass Communication as the Students’ Union President-elect for the 2018/2019 Academic Session. The poll was monitored by different students’ groups, some members of staff and other relevant stakeholders.

Penpushing further reports that, the Rector of the Institution, Dr Samson  Odedina in his remark after the poll, thanked every stakeholder for their time and energy as well as for believing in the system saying; no doubt the institution will rule the world.

The Rector said the conduct of this election was an indication that the future is bright for Nigeria with the Students and leaders ‘our institution is turning out to labour market’, and also  expressed confidence in the ability of the students to lead this country saying ” MAPOLY students are everywhere doing well, I am sure, those coming out now, will surpass the set standard’.
