Metropolitan Broadcasting Services mourn Lai Oso
The Management of Impact Group, owner of Metropolitan Broadcasting Services with headquarters located in Ibadan, Oyo State Capital has mourned demise of the journalism icon, Pro Lai Oso who died Saturday in an auto crash
Penpushing reports that a statement of condolence by Deacon Owolabi Oladejo, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the organization which has in its staple Impact Radio and Amutajero FM radio station to the family of the deceased, noted that the demise of Oso was unfortunate at this time
‘We heard with shock the sudden demise of Professor Layi Osho. His death is most unfortunate at this period. It must be a very difficult time for the family, the media world, friends, and those who know our dear Professor Osho’, the statement reads.
Penpushing further reports that the management recalled that the deceased served as a member of Board of Directors at the Metropolitan Broadcasting Service Limited, and his role contributed meaningfully to growth of Impact School of Broadcasting and Communication
‘For us, at Metropolitan Broadcasting Services Ltd and especially the Impact School of Broadcasting and Communication where he served as a member of our Board of Directors, it is indeed an irreparable loss. We have many cherished memories of his contributions to the birthing of the budding Broadcasting School’.
‘To the family and friends, kindly accept our deepest sympathies during this very difficult time. We hope the memories we all have of his commitment and compassion will comfort us all.May the gentle soul of our dear Professor Layi Osho rest in perfect peace’, Oladejo wrote.
