MAN MISTAKEN FOR BUHARI BOOED IN LONDON
The protesters gathered in front of the building to boo ‘Buhari’ ,carrying placards with inscriptions such as “Buhari, Stop Poisoning Sheikh Zakzaky,” “Omoyele Sowore is not a criminal’, and also seen shouting ‘ole, ole, ole…’ meaning ‘thief, thief, thief….’
The protesters while mentioning the name of the Nigerian President, also condemned the Federal Government disrespect for the courts which granted bail for the detained Omoyele Sowore and Ibrahim El-Zakzaky
Penpushing further reports that, the protesters were calling for the release of the detained Publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore, while others also condemned the treatment of the leader of the Shiite Movement in Nigeria, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky.
The President is currently in London on a private visit as claimed by the Federal Government, but as at the time of this reports, Buhari has spent over a week in the foreign country, where he has continued to run the affairs of the country including recent signing a bill into law.
Penpushing also reports that, as at the time of filing this report, it was not clear if Buhari was in the vehicle or inside the building while the protest and the boos went on, while the Nigerian Embassy in London still kept mute over the development.
