London based Nigerian woman allegedly shot dead after mother’s burial
A United Kingdom -based Nigerian woman, identified as Bolanle Aworetan Omojuwa has been reported shot dead after the burial of her mother, an incident which occurred along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Penpushing reports that, the sad incident which adorned the social media has it that, the woman who came to Nigeria for the burial of her mother, had earlier hosted some friends at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, to celebrate her late mother’s life.
The woman, after the funeral reception decided to visit Oyo State alongside her children on Thursday, August 19, 2021, and was behind the wheel, when bandits attacked the car few kilometers to Ibadan, and shot her dead in the presence of her children.
Penpushing further reports that, following the ugly development, number of the deceased friends and former school mates, as at the time of filing this report have taken to various platforms to mourn her demise
The Ogun State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi when contacted by Penpushing media , as at the time of filing this report, said the command was not aware of the sad development
