Lagelu Health Club berth in Lagelu Grammar School

The old students of Lagelu Grammar School Ibadan in collaboration with Center for Sustainable Assess for Health in Africa, and international organisation that provide free health screening has launched “Lagelu Grammar School Health Club.”

Penpushing reports that, the old Boys Association explained that the Health Club was targeted towards complementing efforts of the Oyo State government in order to deliver quality education across the state.

The Oyo State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Abdulraman Abdulraheem while speaking at the event commended the Alumni, saying that their efforts towards complementing the work of the state government in quest for quality education cannot be overemphasize.

Penpushing further reports that the Commissioner maintained that the project would assist to blocked some loopholes in health of staff and students of the school, while the guest lecturer, Professor Ganiyu Arinola of the University of Ibadan in his speech urged the students to stay away from harmful drugs which can jeopadised their future goal.

Meanwhile, the President of the Alumni, Dr  Kayode Afolabi  in his remarks described the project as a new development which would promote the welfare of students and staff of the school, with assurance the project will be meaningfully used.
