Ladipo market is peaceful,calm,says President General

The President-General of Ladipo Market located in Mushin area of Lagos State , Jude Chike Nwankwo has debunked social media report that the market has been consumed by fire on Monday, adding that the said market is intact and safe.

Penpushing reports that Nwankwo made the clarification in a video adding that contrary to the fake news maintained that the market is peaceful and calm as traders are busy with their normal trading activities , noting that there is no form of violence in the popular market.
 
The President General expressed appreciation to those who have called him within and outside Nigeria to ascertain the true position of things in the market, emphasising that, following the fake report the authorities had contacted the necessary security agencies to keep eagle eye on the market to avoid any breakdown of law and order  in the market and environs 

Penpushing further reports that it is recalled that the rumour which spread like wild fire also  said  the market was  invaded over the outcome of the presidential elections in Lagos State, and swift response Nwankwo noted that there was any form of violence, adding that traders are busy with their normal trading activities, and should also remain calm.
