LABOUR PARTY DECLARES FORMER OGUN SCRIBE PERSONA- NON- GRATA OVER ADOPTION OF OPPOSITION PARTY’S GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE

He said, Oginni and his co-traveller in the illegal adoption, Chief Owolabi have since remained inactive members of Labour Party(LP), in the last three years, as they have not been able to meet their financial and obligations of the party as contained in its constitution.

The party legal adviser emphasized that, he was speaking on good authority, and that the adoption of Isiaka of the African Democratic Party (ADC), should be disregarded, adding that, the authentic State Executive of the party remained under leadership of Abayomi Arabambi, as ruled by the court.

‘I speak to you on good authority that the Ogun State Chapter of Labour Party is under the leadership of Abayomi Arabambi, and you should disregard claim of Oginni on his purported adoption of opposition candidate. Oginni and his co-traveller in the illegal endorsement, Chief Owolabi are persona-non-grata’,he emphasised

Penpushing further reports that, earlier in his statement, the Chairman of the Party in the State, Abayomi Arabambi said those behind the purported endorsement are political unscrupulous elements, scavengers and mercenaries who lack morals .

He pointed out that, there was no time the party adopted any candidate, declaring that, the Labour Party Governorship Candidate, Modupe Sanyaolu is going to contest the election, and there was no basis in adopting any other candidate.

The Chairman declared the purported adoption was comical, adding that  those behind it are not even known to the National Working Committee of the party, or the Independent National Electoral Commission

‘Such desperate actions amounted to coup plot against a constituted national leadership of a political party and Labour Party will use all lawful means to bring Gboyega Nasiru Isiaka and those illegal scavengers to book so that they can pay for their sin against the constitution’,Arabambi said.

The party boss added, ’the general public is advised to ignore the false circulation of a fake adoption of the said emergency Governor Gboyega Nasiru Isiaka as only Ms Modupeola Sanyaolu remains the party candidate in Ogun State’
